Our elegant Midas chair, designed by Susanne Grønlund, draws on Danish design heritage. Crafted from moulded veneer, it elegantly showcases the wood’s distinctive qualities while offering a welcoming, comfortable seat.
Midas Armchair GM 576
Midas is a chair with deep roots in Danish design history and craftsmanship. Its moulded veneer elements are shaped and cut into soft curves that comfortably embrace the seated person. In some places, the curves run alongside one another; elsewhere, they elegantly draw close before parting again.The curves create a strong, graphic expression against both the upholstery’s edge and the surrounding space. A simple base in black powder-coated steel gives the chair a light, elegant appearance. Midas is available in moulded veneer in ash, oak and walnut.
In 2019, Midas was one of the winners of the American GOOD DESIGN AWARD.
